Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains how DropOwl handles information when you use our app or visit dropowl.me. We use Supabase for authentication and backend services.
On this page 7 sections
1. Information we handle
Account information. If you create an account, we may handle your email address, username, account identifier, sign-in method, and profile information you choose to provide.
App activity and preferences. We may handle the searches, categories, offers, coupons, gift card offers, saved items, alert preferences, and other settings you choose to use in DropOwl.
Community content. If community features are available and you use them, we may process deals, comments, images, ratings, or other content you submit, together with information needed to show who posted it.
Technical and security data. Our service providers may receive technical information needed to authenticate users, run the app, protect accounts, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide app features such as deal discovery and alerts; display content you submit; respond to support requests; maintain service reliability; prevent fraud, spam, and misuse; and meet legal obligations.
3. Supabase and other services
DropOwl uses Supabase for authentication and backend services. Information handled by those services is processed to provide the app and protect it. The providers’ own privacy notices and terms may also apply to their processing.
If DropOwl adds analytics, advertising, messaging, or other service providers, this policy should be updated to identify those services and the information they receive before those features are released.
4. Content and links visible to others
Information you choose to put in a public profile or community post may be visible to other DropOwl users. Avoid including sensitive personal information in public content.
Offers may link to retailers or other third-party services. When you leave DropOwl, the other service’s privacy policy and terms govern its handling of information. DropOwl does not control a retailer’s checkout or gift card service.
5. Retention and account deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to operate DropOwl, provide the features you use, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Retention can vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected.
To request deletion of your account and associated information, email info@dropowl.me from the email address connected with your account. Include your DropOwl username. Do not send your password or sign-in codes. We may ask for reasonable verification. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
See the account deletion page for the request steps.
6. Security and children
We use appropriate safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your sign-in credentials and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
DropOwl is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to DropOwl, contact us so we can review the request.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as DropOwl changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@dropowl.me.
